Frozen Fruity Pizza
This Fruity Pizza is actually frozen mango yogurt bark studded with fruits. I love calling it pizza, firstly because it looks like that and secondly, the name pizza amuses everyone, especially kids, and ones feels eager to grab it. Right?
This fruity pizza is in a way a variation of mango yogurt only. The difference is that it is frozen and is studded with fruits.
This frozen pizza or yogurt barks is a guilt-free, healthy alternative to ice-cream. You can have it as much as you like without carrying any guilt. Plus, the cold frozen bites tastes so good in summer and really give a respite from the heat.
It's a pizza you would want your kids to have daily. It gets ready in hardly 10 minutes plus freezing time. Made up of only two ingredients, yogurt and fruits, it is a really healthy snack/dessert to munch on any time.
Fireless Recipe Of Fruity Pizza
Making this fruity pizza is really easy and requires just 1o minutes of yours, that too without sweating out, as its a fireless recipe. Rest of the work will be done by the freezer. No cooking involved.
In peak summers, when cooking is a task, then easy, no-cook recipes are a boon. After all, who wants to shed tons of sweat when yummy treats can be made by sitting in an airconditioned room only?
It's so simple that even your younger chefs can make this.
How To make Frozen Fruity Pizza?
Making frozen pizza is really easy. All you need to make this is hung curd and lots of fruits. I added mango puree in the hung curd which enhanced its taste manifold. Instead of mango puree, you can add puree of any other fruit too, like peaches, banana, plums etc. Or, you can simply use hung curd without mixing any fruit puree. Just take care, that you use pulpy fruits rather than watery ones like watermelon.
Once the hung curd is mixed with fruit puree, lay this in any shallow tray. You can use any freezer friendly tray. Even baking tray can be used. Once it gets spread then cover it with chopped fruits of your choice. Thats it! Now freeze it for 3 to 4 hours. Once frozen, cut it into different shapes and enjoy. I preferred cutting it in triangular, you can even cut round discs or simply bars. But whatever you choose, be quick, as it melts really fast.
Frozen Curd Or Yogurt?
Agreed that yogurt and curd are different but in this recipe you can use either. I have used hung curd so that all excess water in the curd is drained. You can use yogurt as well. To know the difference between yogurt and curd read here.
Does Fruity Pizza or Yogurt Bark Melt?
As this bark or pizza has only curd and fruits therefore it melts very quickly. So, you need to be quick while sewrving it. One easy way is to cut the pieces when frozen and then again keep these in the freezer till serving time. That way, you can serve it straight out of the freezer without any fear of getting it soft.
When To Serve Frozen Fruity Pizza?
Is there a fixed time to have healthy bites? If no, then why limit yourself from having these healthy frozen yogurt bites?
The best thing is that you can serve these fruity pizza in breakfast as well. Give these to children before going to school or after they come back from school or in midnight or evening or at any time whenever they wish to have.

Step By Step Recipe
- Chop fruits of your choice.
- Take a shallow tray that can go in your freezer and lay parchment paper in it.
- Take hung curd in a bowl. Making hung curd is very easy. Check the method of making hung curd here.
- To this, add mango puree and honey.
- Beat for 10-15 seconds to remove lumps, if any.
- Put this mix on the parchment paper.
- Spread it by tilting the tray to and fro or spread using a spatula.
- Scatter mixed fruits on it.
- Chill in freezer for 3 to 4 hours or till set.
- Once set, you can lift it easily and thus remove the parchment paper.
- Cut into desired shapes.
- Serve with love.
- Add any other fruit puree like kiwi puree or strawberry puree etc in place of mango puree.
- Keep the yogurt plain, don’t add any puree. Now add powdered sugar and few drops of vanilla essence to it and proceed as above.

- 4 Tbsp Hung Curd
- 4 Tbsp Mango Puree
- 1 Tbsp Honey or 1 tablespoon Honey
- 1/2 Cup Chopped fruits of your choice
Chop fruits of your choice.
Take a shallow tray that can go in your freezer and lay parchment paper in it.

To this, add mango puree and honey.

- Adjust the quantity of honey and mango puree as per your taste and sweetness of mangoes.
- Preferred fruits are grapes, kiwi, pomegranate, plums, peaches, cherries etc.
