Rashmi's Questions

1)A quote which would define you?

''I no longer force things. What flows, flows; what crashes, crashes. I only have space and energy for things that are meant for me."

2) Your best life lesson till date?

Never beat a drum of your problems. Share them with just one or two people, whom you consider most trustworthy. And always remember the song...

''Jo tum hansoge to Duniya hasegi, Jo roage tum to na royegi duniya

Tere ansuon ko samajh na sakegi, Tere ansuon pe hansegi ye duniya. ''

One more line I would like to add here and that is Stop Expecting From Others.

3) The most important thing for survival and success?

To continue with passion without giving heed to criticism and negative comments.

4) The most funny or weirdest incident of your life?

Okay, so one of the funniest incidents that I can recall so far was based on an assumption by my parents & inlaws during my newlywed days. So the story goes like this, it is about the time when I & my husband were at the airport arrival coming back from our honeymoon. At the airport, my eyes were watering badly and when our parents saw us from the other end of the visitor's lounge, they got worried thinking that I was crying because of a massive fight. They panicked and asked us what went wrong repeatedly. In reality, my eyes were only watering due to an eye infection. We tried to explain to them about the infection but they just didn't believe us, and only got convinced when we straight away went to the doctor. But it became a good joke that we still occasionally discuss over family gatherings.

5) If offered, what would be the one thing (or wish) that you would ask for (only one) ?

Whatever be the situation, I may never lose my peace of mind and be happy in all the circumstances.

Srishti's Questions

1.The proudest moment of your life?

I think the day I got the 2nd prize by "Times Of India" for my Rasmalai Cake. That was the first time I got such a prestigious award and was on cloud nine.

2. What is the most courageous thing you ever did?

Launching my food blog due to my limited computer skills and the fear of not getting through it. But I am glad, I did it.

3. Your favorite writer?

Robin Sharma, his bestseller "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari".

4. The funniest or weirdest thing you ever did for the sake of a loved one?

My son, Siddharth, calls me up secretly when he is not willing to do something with his friends, to make me a villain in front of them by forcing me to lie on the phone & restricting him to do it by emotional blackmailing to help him rid of that situation. I'm like his biggest weapon that he can always count on. And me, who just can't lie easily, but have to. I truly deserve an Oscar for this, I really do :p.

5. What does the word “love” mean to you?

Sorry dear, I don't know. If you love someone then you just love, you can't live without that person, you fight with him/her, you cajole, you pamper, you consider him/her your property with which you can do anything. I believe this tagline says it all "Tedha hai but Mera hai".

Trapti's Questions

1)Decisions you want to change you took in past? (If you will be given the chance)

Should have studied Home Science instead of Commerce.

2)What do you understand the true meaning of independence?

Freedom to do things we like to do the most, be it just sleeping or talking or shopping or anything else.

3)Whom you want to give the credit to your achievements? (Which you have)

None other than my family especially my late mother in law, Smt Sushila Gupta. When you are fond of innovative cooking then you do end up committing mistakes and wasting a lot of things, success doesn't come that easily. I too wasted a lot but she, without making a hue and cry of it, always encouraged me. If this wasn't her attitude then I wouldn't have been whatever I am today.

4)Have you ever been caught while singing and dancing alone? (Funny or Weird question)

No...yipeee... I always take special care :)-

5)Are you always be ready to take risks to make your life better?

Yes. I would say most of the times.
