Roti Crumbs? You must be wondering what’s this? Have often heard and used bread crumbs but this Roti crumb is a new term.
So, friends, Roti crumbs are just like bread crumbs. The way bread crumbs are made from bread similarly, roti crumbs are made from chapati. Roti crumbs are a perfect and healthy substitute to bread crumbs. Also, its a great way to use leftover chapatis.

No matter how much perfect we try to be, but still some times we are left with one or two chapatis. Everyone prefers fresh chapatis and no one wants to eat these leftover ones. Now, what to do?
Of course, we can use them for making Roti Noodles, or Roti Quesadillas. And in addition, you can try these roti crumbs too.

Also, when your little one doesn’t want to eat chapati then take it easy. No worries…at all. Give him/her chapatis in some other form.

Use fresh or leftover roti (chapati) for making roti crumbs and use it the way you use bread crumbs.
Make Alloo Tikki, cutlets, kababs…. for binding use these crumbs.
How To Make
- For making Roti Crumbs, tear roti and grind it in the grinder. Fresh as well as leftover, grinds very well.
- That’s it. Now use it or store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator/ freezer.
- For making cutlets with it, in your usual mix of potatoes, veggies and spices add these roti crumbs.
- And make perfect cutlets… healthy too…
