Crispy bread or Curd Bread Toast is one of the easiest yet very yummy snack recipe.
It may look very ordinary but is actually very delicious.
Actually, it is the best for amateur cooks and at the same time proves to be a lifesaver even for the experts.
Made just with bread and yoghurt, it gets ready in maximum 10 minutes.
By the time you prepare tea/coffee for your sudden and in a hurry type guests, a wonderful snack gets ready.
There is nothing extraordinary in this recipe yet people love it. Crispy from outside with a soft centre it tastes awesome.
I have made it umpteen times, earlier because I knew only very few recipes and now for my sudden guests or as an evening snack as my children just love these.
Even today when someone comes all of a sudden and that too for very short period, say 15 minutes or so, then the first thing that comes to my mind is this crispy bread.
But every time, trust me, it has brought me applause.
I owe this recipe to my sister in law, Vineeta Gupta, who taught me this at the time of my marriage.
Today, maybe we have a variety of snacks but years back it was something very novice.
The recipe actually is very simple. Curd is spread between bread slices which is then sautéed along with mustard seeds and curry leaves.
