Though Blogchatter's A2Z Challenge is over,
I am still swinging in its hangover...

All good things come to an end and so has this season of BlogchatterA2Z Challenge 2019. A feeling of accomplishment, a sigh of relief, a vacuum from on, missing out on wonderful posts as well feedback, and what not. Today is a day packed with all these emotions. Though I am not a very emotional being but still there was a tiny watery speck in my eyes while I pressed the Publish button on the last day of April month. What was it?

A glimpse of my Kids Favourite Recipes for the month of April this year...

If you want to know about my theme for this challenge then please read here.

This one month was boisterous, challenging, tiring, full of apprehensions but still much less than the excitement, fun and learning it brought with it. I still can't believe that I jumped from 3 to 7 posts per month to 27! How startling!!! Before I proceed any further, would like to applaud Blog Chatter for coming up this challenge. 3 Cheers for Blog Chatter!!!

Had it not been for Blog chatter A2Z challenge, I would have never even dreamt of going this far. This was also one of the reasons I opted to participate in it. This was the best way to test my own limits which were hidden from me too. It was a real challenge and I am glad that I managed to sail through it swiftly.

This Blog chatter A2Z challenge was amazing. It was like a carnival where we had stalls of everything including the eateries and joy rides.
Poetry, humour, recipes, short stories, novels, life-skills articles, tourist destinations around the globe, health-related info, beauty, fashion, about NGO's, various social events and much much more. Never had I read on so many diverse topics in a day. I got to know of so many talented writers. I really enjoyed their short and crisp writings so much that whatever time I could sneak out of my busy schedule, I would devote it to that. Still, lot many were left out and feel sorry for that.

This challenge has given me some excellent acquaintances as well as friends. I am thankful to all my co-bloggers for their encouraging comments and feedback which kept me all the more enthused and motivated. Some bloggers like Noor Anand Chawla, Priyanka Nair, Rashmi Jain, Srishti Gupta, Trapti Gupta, Manju Mann, Shilpa Garg, Radhika Acharya, really boosted my morale not only with their extremely appreciative comments but also nominating me for Mystery Blogger Award. Thank a ton dear all, it means a lot!

If I talk about this last one month of April in some rhyming mood, then what about this one:

The whole house went berserk,
Breakfast was Bread and Milk,
Groceries were out of stock,

Clothes were piled up on the rack,
Socialising took a seat at the back,
Except blogging, everything was out of track!

Excuse me, don't give those sympathetic looks. Nothing of this sort happened. Don't you think it is exaggerated? It was actually, on a lighter note only. Yes, no doubt, a major chunk of the day was rolled up in cooking (for my blog), clicking pics, writing the post, and some mandatory outings. And there were disruptions too, but then who would call it a challenge otherwise? Shall I tell you something? Socializing was on a full swing along with an outstation trip for 2 days. But yes, my family deserves big thumbs up for their wholehearted cooperation. It just wouldn't have been possible without their support. Also, without fail, my younger son, Siddharth, would ask about the day's alphabet and the recipe I came up with. Along with Blog chatter, he too was keeping a count of it.

But this non-stop blogging marathon has taught me the importance of planning and organizing well. Little chaos that happened could be easily avoided had I done my homework well. So this means, fully geared up for next year's A2Z challenge.

Hope to keep in touch...

With Love n Gratitude
