Shahi Tukda, the famous Indian sweet, is made with a healthy twist and in different flavour to suit the taste buds of kids.
Cut bread in various shapes using cookie cutter. I used heart shape.
Brush clarified butter on both sides.
Toast in airfryer at 180 degrees for 5 minutes or till golden brown.
Heat jaggery with water and boil it for 2 or 3 minutes till thickens slightly.
Dissolve custard powder in 2 tbsp milk.
Heat rest of the milk with jaggery powder. When jaggery dissolves and milk is heated well, add the custard powder mix.
Cook the custard for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring continuously, till it gets slightly thick.
Let it cool down slightly. Now, dip toasted bread hearts in this syrup and arrange in the serving plate.
Spoon little more jaggery syrup on the toasted bread once laid in the serving plate.
Pour custard sauce over these bread hearts.
Drizzle chocolate sauce and sprinkle sugar sprinkles.
Chill in the refrigerator for an hour or two.
Serve with love, additional custard sauce and chocolate sauce optional.
